The whip is one of the weapons used by "Eywa's chosen heroes".
One tribal song tells of one of Eywa's chosen heroes who wielded a living vine as a long whip. The hero was able to defeat his enemies with the weapon, but also used it to reach things well out of reach. It is known to be one of Alaksi Nari weapons.
