Windbent Bark is the bark of the windbent tree. The gall of the windbent tree forms when parasitic insects infiltrate the bending tree bark, usually near the base or root, however it can also be found in the upper branches. It is known for an acerbic, pine-like scent.
Rarer windbent bark is often found in the Wild Purple Steppe biome of the Upper Plains.
Bark is the tough outer coating of plant stems, roots and trunks. The Na'vi have learned to gather bark "galls," knotty swellings on the plant surface caused by natural damage. This gathering helps heal the tree and the bark is used to craft a variety of Na'vi gear.
