The x-bow or crossed bow is a Na'vi short bow that has two crossed supports and can be stressed for power to a great degree. They are considered to be a smaller, more portable version of the larger Banshee Bow and is classified as a short bow as such. Although it is over twice the mass of its larger cousin due to be constructed out of denser, reinforced wood.
Description[]
The extra power caused by its dense, reinforced structure is needed to take down large creatures, although they are said to be useless against thanators and leonopteryx.
Often used from the back of a banshee because of extra power provided by the bow for long-distance firing.
Materials and Construction[]
The x-bow is made from incredibly densed shaped wood, decorated with twine, rope and color pigments.
